Financial services tech giant plans 118 layoffs at its N.J. hub

Fiserv Solutions is planning to eliminate 118 positions at its Berkeley Heights, New Jersey location between March 31 and May 31. The facility is an operations and innovation hub for the company, which provides infrastructure for the financial services sector and serves about 10,000 clients worldwide. The layoffs are part of the Worker's Right to Priorities Act, which requires employers to provide 60 days' notice before mass layoffs or plant closings affecting 50 or more employees.
