Apple's Siri project, dubbed "Siri, but make it actually good," is reportedly causing delays in physical product releases. The project, which involves a group of product engineers, is not just a quirky side project at Apple but also a major project at the company, according to anonymous sources. Two products, codenamed J490 and J491, were reportedly intended to compete with the Amazon Echo Show 8 or HomePod mini with a screen featuring an Apple Watch-like interface, and a robot that moves on a tabletop. These products were meant to be released in 2025 but delayed until spring of this year. The delay in these products indicates Apple's struggle to create an AI model of its own, followed by hype for the new model and more delays.
