Driver arrested on suspicion of DUI, murder after Jeep he hit plunges off bridge

A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of DUI and murder after he allegedly ran into the rear of a Jeep on a state Route 54 connector ramp, causing it to fall into the Sweetwater River below. Both the driver and the passenger of the Jeep were extricated but could not be revived. The incident occurred shortly after 12:50 a.m.
