Los Angeles-based influencer family of 10, known as the House of Lafond on social media, were hit-and-run in North Hollywood earlier this week. The crash occurred during a brief rainstorm on the 170 Freeway at Whitsett Avenue. The family, two parents and eight children, were rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital. The search continues for the driver who fled the scene. The van was totaled, making transportation difficult. The Lafonds are grateful for their injuries and are working with their insurance to get another one.
