U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, stated that he does not believe President Donald Trump will take any options off the table regarding Iran's ongoing military action. This comes after recent attacks on Kharg Island, Iran's "crown jewel," were specifically targeted military assets. However, Waltz did not rule out the possibility of strikes that damaged the regime's oil infrastructure. He also mentioned that an unrestrained Iran had been using these military assets to control shipping, whether of oil or other goods, and said that if Iran continued to wreak havoc on any ships attempting to travel through the Strait of Hormuz, he would maintain this option.
