San Diego State was left out of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019, marking a disappointing end to a season that saw the Aztecs lose 73-62 to Utah State in the conference title game. Despite this, SDSU's 22-11 record and strong performances, the only Mountain West team to make the tournament. It is unclear whether SDSE will accept a lesser postseason tournament bid.
