Long security wait times at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport have caused major delays for travelers. The Department of Homeland Security shutdown is affecting workers, with 34% of the TSA agents in Atlanta reportedly calling out sick due to not receiving a paycheck. This has led to increased security waiting times, with the app to monitor wait times now working. Nearly 400 agents nationwide have already resigned due to the shutdown.
