Deadly strikes hit northern Iran, state media report

Iran's state media and authorities have reported deadly overnight strikes on the city of Urmia, which destroyed four residential units and resulted in several deaths and injuries. The conflict between the US-Israeli conflict with Iran has left about 20,000 seafarers stranded at sea as it virtually shuts down the Strait of Hormuz. The White House is reportedly showing signs of interest in ending the conflict, which may be resolved with a compromise rather than unconditional surrender. One Palestinian was killed and seven others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a crowded displacement camp in Gaza, while two US Marine Expeditionary Units are on their way to the Middle East.
