Three men with links to Ukraine, Roman Lavrynovych, Petro Pochynok, and Stanislav Carpiuc, are accused of orchestrating arson attacks on properties connected to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer over five days last May. The arsonists were offered money by a mystery figure known as "El Money", prosecutors told a London court. The men are charged with arson with intent to endanger life or be reckless about life. The other two defendants deny the charges. Police have recovered contact between Lavrynovich and "el Money" on the Telegram messaging app, which indicated that Lavryryovych had been recruited, instructed and promised with payment for the fires.
