NJ Coast Guardsman Who Saved Motorcyclist's Life Earns National Honor

NJ Coast Guardsman, Dmochowski, has been named the 2026 USO Coast Guardman of the Year by the USO for his heroic actions during a motorcycle accident that saved the life of a motorcyclist. Dmachowski and his girlfriend, Adrianna Bollaro, spent over an hour helping the motorcycler, who suffered a compound fracture and was bleeding heavily, saving his life. The award was given to seven service members nationwide for their extraordinary acts of bravery and service. Dchochowski and the other 2026 service members will be honored at the annual USO Gala on April 16 in Washington, DC. He credits his service in the Coast Guard to instilled his instinct to help and be prepared for emergencies.
