Election puts taxes, infrastructure and school bonds before voters

Voters in Bexar County are considering a range of local leadership races, tax measures, and school funding proposals in the May 2 election. Several cities, including Castle Hills and Shavano Park, are asking voters to reauthorize a local sales tax (about a quarter-cent) to fund street maintenance and repairs. In the meantime, voters are considering multiple bond measures for school facilities, stadiums, and technology upgrades.
