Denver International Airport (DIA) has experienced numerous delays and cancellations over the past week, with reports of 725 delays and 138 cancellations on March 16 and another 397 delays and 35 cancellations the next day. The airport's train system was disrupted by an electrical outage on March 18, which caused thousands of travelers to be stuck waiting for a train to reach concourses B and C, which have no other way to reach the main terminal. The FAA issued a ground stop shortly after the outage, but the situation was rectified by the airport itself. Despite significant investment in the airport's infrastructure and modernization, there has been no Plan B. Despite this, readers have expressed frustration at the lack of a backup plan when the trains to concourse B or C are down.
