Samsung's new Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds are better in several ways compared to their predecessors, including their refined design and introduction of head gestures. The improvements to noise cancellation, durability, and audio tuning were also noted. The Buds are sonically equal to Apple's AirPods Pro 3 and Sony's WH-1000XM6. They support hi-fi listening at up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution, adaptive noise cancellation and super-wideband calling, LE Audio, and ambient mode. However, they also struggle with the sound of voices, especially when they're close, making it harder for the headphones to handle. Despite minor issues with LE Audio and LC3, these are still in development and Samsung prioritizes more stable codecs.
