The general manager of the JW Marriott Desert Springs, Nusrat Mirza, explains that the hotel provides training for frontline staff and requires higher level certification. The goal of this certification is to educate its staff and create areas that are more accessible for guests with autism or autistic conditions. Mirza also highlights the need for non-busy areas and for more accessible areas for autistic individuals. These changes were also part of the training required for staff.
