A woman in Texas has been convicted of murdering her 16-year-old daughter, Katelynn Stone, in an attempt to protect him from consequences for impregnating her. The body of Stone was found in the bedroom of 21-year old Cody Arnold's residence. Prosecutors claim that Arnold and Shipp saw Stone's pregnancy as a threat to Arnold's reputation. Arnold was also romantically involved with Shipp. Shipp was arrested after a public search was conducted. Both men were convicted of murder and sentenced to 34 years in prison.
