President Donald Trump has urged Iran to call him if it wants a deal, amid stalled peace talks and ongoing tensions over the Strait of Hormuz. This follows a decision to cancel a planned trip by his envoys to Pakistan due to too much time spent on travel and work. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who was supported by the American delegation, met with Russia's President Vladimir Putin to continue ongoing discussions between Tehran and Moscow. The two countries are at odds in many of their core demands, including removal of the U.S. maritime blockade in the strait.
