The 2026 NFL offseason is set to begin at 4 p.m. ET on March 11, when teams can decide whether or not to use the franchise tag or transition tag. Pending free agents can begin talking with other teams during the NFL's legal tampering period, which also allows players to enter contract negotiations. The league will officially begin contracts for 2025, so teams can officially sign free agents to new contracts. Here is a look at each team's current unrestricted free agents, projected cap space and team needs. The Cardinals and Falcons need to find a new franchise quarterback for both their positions. The Falcons' need to address their quarterback position and defensive line needs.
