Former ‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay Says Taylor Frankie Paul Controversy Has “Completely Destroyed” ‘Bachelor’ Franchise: “It’s Over”

Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay has stated that the Bachelor franchise cannot survive Taylor Frankie Paul's domestic violence controversy. Speaking on the Bachelor Party podcast, Lindsay shared her thoughts about ABC's decision to pull The Bachelor season 22 following a video leaked of Paul's arrest in 2023. She said she felt the season was over and that the name Bachelorete, Bachelor is tainted. ABC also removed Paul's Bachelorente season after the video was posted by TMZ. The Draper City Police Department is currently investigating an alleged domestic assault incident involving Paul and Mortensen. As of Friday, filming on season five of Mormon Wives is still paused until the investigation into the incident concludes.
