Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin has used a previously flown New Glenn rocket booster to launch a satellite for AST SpaceMobile in Florida. The rocket made a successful touchdown on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean after its first flight in November. This feat puts Blue Origin's competition with SpaceX to a new level. The company's Florida team recovered and refurbished the booster for today's launch, and it is named Jacklyn as a tribute to Bezos' mother. This was the third launch for Blue Origin’s orbital-class New Glenn. The primary objective of the mission was to deploy BlueBird 7 from the rocket’s second stage in low Earth orbit.
