Omaha weather: Rounds of rain possible Wednesday, Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, with several rounds of rain possible. The National Weather Center is monitoring for possible thunderstorms throughout the day. The weather outlook includes a cold snap, with temperatures expected to drop from the high of 63 degrees to around 50 degrees. There are also potential gusts of up to 40MPH expected throughout the morning, potentially leading to significant rainfall. The best chance of seeing some good soaking is expected to occur on Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. A WIND ADVISORY is issued from the National Weather Services for Eastern Nebraska. Despite this, temperatures are expected to remain mild, with highs expected to reach the mid-60s after the day of the weather. There is also a potential for severe weather conditions throughout the week.
