Omaha's homeless encampment pilot program has been in place for six months, with the goal of closing 43 encampments and assisting people with finding resources. The program also relocated people from unshoused homes to find housing. The goal of the program is to help people find resources and close encampments. The pilot program, which ends in April 30, aims to close the remaining encampments just before the end of the year.
