'Islamic Affairs Authority', 'AI Office' launch AI workshops for religious discourse professionals

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has launched the first specialised training workshops on artificial intelligence for professionals involved in religious discourse. The workshops, organised by the UAE's Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office, aim to train over 5,000 imams, preachers, and religious speakers in line with the objectives of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031. They also aim to increase the integration of roles between religious institutions and entities shaping the country's digital future. The workshop was held at Mohammed Bin Zayed University for Humanities and aims to equip participants with foundational knowledge and practical concepts related to AI technologies.
