There are seven active NHL players from Colorado, including seven who won gold medal in the 2025-2026 Milan/Cortina Winter Olympics with Team USA. The University of Denver had 10 alumni on opening day rosters, eight of whom played a game in the NHL this season. Other notable players include a defenseman drafted 2015 37th overall to BOS, a center drafted 2016 142nd overall to LAK, a left wing drafted 2018 193rd overall to CHI, a right wing drafted 2019 27th overall for FLA, and a left Wing drafted 2018 194nd overall for CHI.
