Shocking video shows snowless mountain at Mt. Shasta Ski Park as resort shuts early

Mt. Shasta Ski Park in Northern California ended its 2025-26 ski season prematurely due to excessive warm weather and steady rain. The resort only remained open for 55 days this season, falling short of its 60-day operating promise tied to its season passes. Without colder weather, the snowpack continued to break down, forcing resort officials to suspend operations. Season pass holders will receive a credit for the purchase of a pass for the 2026-27 season.
