A federal judge in California has blocked the Trump administration from limiting Anthropic's contracts with federal government. The company had sued the Defense Department and other federal agencies after the Pentagon labelled it a "supply-chain risk to national security". President Donald Trump also announced that he would ban the use of Anthropic’s products across other federal agency. Anthropic had sought assurances that its AI systems would not be used in autonomous weapons or mass domestic surveillance.
