Leakers have been circulating rumors of a smaller Dynamic Island for the iPhone 18, a software element designed to hide in-screen holes for the TrueDepth camera array. The latest image was posted by "Early Apple Leaks," suggesting that the base models will have the same cut-out. However, another leaker, Majin Bu, noted that the infrared sensor has shifted into the top-left corner of the display, suggesting that this could be a plausible way for Apple to make the Dynamic Island smaller. Despite these claims, there is no guarantee that the Dynamic Islands will actually shrink until Apple formally launches its products in the fall.
