Police in East Haven, CT, have charged 20-year-old Massachusetts man with "unprovoked" attack on an occupied police cruiser during an overnight street takeover in 2025. The officer was the first to arrive at the chaotic scene in a Foxon Road shopping plaza. Masked individuals sprayed his police cruiser with a fire extinguisher before throwing it at the vehicle as others lit off fireworks. The investigation led to multiple arrests and the arrest of several suspects. The suspects were identified as Liam Timothy Walsh, 20, of Somerville, MA.
