U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM) is working to persuade its roughly 1,400 personnel to move from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, where it plans to establish a new headquarters. The move is set to have a significant impact on the local community, with additional eight personnel joining the ranks. The compensation package includes a 10% pay raise and 100% salary incentive paid over four years. The lawsuit against the move is currently under way, with a potential trial date set at least 20 years old.
