Livita Ciara, a 16-year-old contestant on The Voice, performed her rendition of Kelly Clarkson's 2004 hit "Breakaway" on the show's episode episode on March 30. Despite being nervous about her performance, she performed well and kept her in the Knockout round. The performance was enough to keep Ciara in the competition, marking her return to the show after previously being rejected for the previous season. The song was praised by Clarkson as "so beautiful" by coach John Legend.
