Man charged with shooting CPD sergeant, woman on Far South Side Chicago, police say

A man, 26-year-old Treavor Taylor, is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly shooting a Chicago police officer and a woman on the Far South Side. The incident occurred on Saturday night in the 11200-block of South Corliss Avenue. The officer self-transported to the hospital and the woman are expected to be okay. The charges stem from an alleged attempted murder of a peace officer and an unidentified 63-woman.
