Phillip Shaw, 41, and his brother Robert Shaw, 50, have been charged with murder in relation to the shooting death of 34-year-old Justin Johnson. The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on Oct. 17 in the 300 block of Sycamore Street near the intersection with Third Street. Police found Johnson with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene. Prosecutors allege that the brothers were outside in a truck stolen from Kentucky with license plates stolen from a car that had been at a Bengals game. Judge Anita Berding stated that due to Phillip Shaw's previous 10-year sentence for drug trafficking and his history of violence, a substantial bond was set at $1 million. The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the shooting.
