Wind, cooler temperatures on the way to Arizona

A Wind Advisory is in effect for northwestern Arizona, including the Kingman area from 2pm to 11pm. The forecast high is predicted for 95 degrees, which is 8 degrees above normal for this time of year and 8 degrees shy of the daily record. The area of low pressure is being driven by an approaching low-pressure system and will remain breezy across Arizona. Temperatures will drop behind the system, with high temperatures expected to peak in the upper 80s on Wednesday and Thursday before reaching the low 90s on Friday. The weekend will also see a chance of rain and chilly weather, with temperatures expected at around 88 and 83 respectively.
