Only two players in MLB history have homered in back-to-back regular-season games to begin their careers. In 2016, Trevor Story homered six times in his first FOUR games, while Kyle Lewis hit six in his three-game debut for the 2019 season. The feat was a record-breaking achievement for both player and player. No player had even achieved this feat before Story. Other notable players include Carlos Delauter, Joe Gallo, and Pedro Alvarez. The most recent player to homer on the first pitch of his career, both on Opening Day and in his fifth and sixth game, Hinds, and Alvarez.
