Judge allows lawyers to withdraw from defending accused Tamarac triple murderer

A Broward judge has allowed defense lawyers for accused killer Nathan Gingles to withdraw from the case after he accused them of being in cahoots with the prosecution to secure a guilty verdict and the death penalty. Attorneys Kaitlin Gonzalez and Maury Halperin of the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel stated their relationship with their client, Gingles, had deteriorated beyond the point where they could continue representing him. The judge appointed defense lawyer Mitch Polay to take over the case.
