Leaked Anthropic Model Presents 'Unprecedented Cybersecurity Risks,' Much to Pentagon's Pleasure

Anthropic's top-secret AI model, Claude Mythos, has been revealed by the Department of Defense and Anthropic's fundraising team. The model is described as "by far the most powerful AI model we've ever developed" and presents "unprecedented cybersecurity risks," according to a leaked blog post from Anthropic. The Pentagon is pleased with the revelation, despite not giving any indication of having concerns about this type of thing before. The company confirmed the model's existence to Fortune and stated it's holding back the model due to it potentially being too dangerous to release. However, the Pentagon is still seeking to win in the court of public opinion.
