New data from MoneyLion suggests that summer travel costs significantly higher than three years ago, with the average bill for the priciest US destinations exceeding $6,000. The study compared popular summer vacation destinations across the country to a seven-night trip from June 12 to 19. The most expensive destination was Anchorage, with a total of $2,000 for airfare, hotel, and meals. Meanwhile, the most affordable destination was Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at $3,138.
