Counting calories doesn't work. Try eating smarter instead

The time of day, the amount of food consumed, the length of the meal, and amount of time it takes to absorb, can affect the calorie intake. However, according to Professor of Nutrition at King's College London, there is a complex biological interaction taking place inside our bodies, influenced by the type of food eaten, consumption, and interaction with microbes. The timing of food also plays a role in how well we digest it and what nutrients our bodies extract.
