The NFL's free agency deadline is March 3, when all veteran players not currently under contract will be eligible for free agency. The legal tampering period begins on Monday, March 9, and teams can begin negotiating with free agents before the official start of free agency on March 11. The franchise tag deadline is also set at 4 p.m. ET for several top offensive players, including Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens, and reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, could be tagged to prevent them from leaving the open market. Potential trades could be made for players such as Jermaine Johnson and Anthony Richardson.
