The crypto industry has been hit by multiple hacks and shutdowns this year, with Solana-based Drift Protocol, a Solana cryptocurrency platform, receiving approximately $280 million in different crypto assets. Other platforms, including a Kyrgyzstan-based crypto trading exchange linked to Russia, also reported a large-scale cyberattack. Foundation, a non-fungible token (NFT) platform, announced that it is shutting down after entering into an agreement to sell the platform to a buyer, but the acquisition failed to be completed. Mint Blockchain, a popular platform for NFT infrastructure, also announced it has officially ceased operations on April 17.
