The focus is on mental health awareness during May, also known as Mental Health Awareness Month. Dr. LaKeitha Poole, associate athletic director for sports psychology and counseling at LSU, discusses the challenges faced by student-athletes, who often face unique mental health challenges such as adjustment to college life, depression, anxiety, and injury.
