Choctaw Travel Plaza Launches Tribal Scholarship Fund

The first-ever scholarship fund for the Choctaw Travel Plaza has been launched by customers purchasing a commemorative 32-ounce cup at any Travel Plaza across the reservation. The fund was seeded through a partnership with Coca-Cola and aims to help send Choctow students to college or trade school. The Chahta Foundation will match all donations dollar-for-determined. The scholarship will award at least three $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors this year and is expected to expand the number of scholarships offered annually.
