Hendon Hooker getting another chance with Robert Saleh’s Titans after brief Jets tenure

The Tennessee Titans are signing former Jets quarterback Hendon Hooker on a free agent deal, as well as ex-Gang Green running back Michael Carter. Hooker, who joined the Jets' practice squad in December after his release from the Panthers, was elevated to the active roster under coach Aaron Glenn, who succeeded Saleh as the Jets head coach last year. Carter was part of the 2021 Jets class that Saleh drafted and played two full seasons for the Jets before being released mid-2023. The Titans have also signed veteran Mitchell Trubisky and Will Levis.
