Argentinian football club, River Plate, has appointed Eduardo Coudet as its new head coach following the departure of Marcelo ​Gallardo. Coudlet joins from Spain's Alaves and will replace Gallardo who resigned last week after a year and a half of a successful career at the club. The appointment is set to be officially announced on Wednesday.
