The Merchant, the shopkeeper who was left with a significant debt of over three pesetas after their last encounter in Resident Evil 4 Remake, has not appeared in the series since then. According to a tweet from Capcom, while Leon Kennedy spent nearly 40 trillion ptas on the shop's supplies and sold over 43 trillion pta' worth of goods to the merchant, the total debt is likely to exceed three trillion euros. This revelation raises questions about whether the Merchant even has other customers, or if he is using offshore accounts.
