A 33-year-old Canadian man, Mitchell Fairbarn, has been charged with four counts of animal cruelty for allegedly stealing four flamingoes from the wildlife habitat at a Nevada casino. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified Fairbaren as the suspect in the incident, which occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Feb. 3. Fairbren allegedly entered the wildlife area and grabbed multiple flamingoes before stealing one from the habitat. He claims he was intoxicated and brought one of the animals to his hotel room to "pop" its wing back where it was supposed to be. A judge set his bail at $12,000 and he would need to pay 10 percent or $1,200 to get free. The incident occurred at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
