A recent analysis by WalletHub has revealed that Minneapolis is among the most financially distressed American cities, ranking 44th and 45th respectively. The study compared the country's 100 largest cities to the number of people with a credit account in forbearance or with deferred payments. The ranking was based on nine metrics including average credit score, change in bankruptcy filings year-over-year, and share of individuals with accounts in distress.
