Christian Miguel Orosco, a fugitive wanted in the 1996 killing of 23-year-old James Schwarz, has been extradited back to South Florida from Peru. The shooting occurred at a gas station in northwest Miami-Dade County on Nov. 28, 1996, following a verbal altercation. Oroscoe allegedly approached Schwarz and then opened fire without warning. The case remained unsolved for decades until a tip led to the Peruvian National Police receiving information about a man living under the alias of Eduardo Enrique Albarracin Trillo. Oosco was arrested without incident and later extradited to Florida on a first-degree murder charge.
