Jury selection begins in one of the largest auto insurance fraud cases in Louisiana history. Attorneys Vanessa Motta and Jason Giles are accused of orchestrating a scheme where drivers were paid to intentionally crash into 18-wheelers and collect settlements. Both have pleaded not guilty. The case involves 63 people, many of whom have already pleaded guilty. Motta's defense argues that she was manipulated by a co-defendant. The judge allows recorded descriptions of the alleged scheme to be admitted at trial.
