Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear signs legislation to improve education access

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has signed two bills, House Bills 307 and 642, which aim to increase access to higher education and increase pay for retired teachers in reemployment. The legislation also establishes an admissions program for students seeking a higher education, and will increase the amount a retired teacher can earn daily from $170 to $200 in employment.
