Homeless charity aims to create 150 blankets

Swindon Big Knit, a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness, is seeking volunteers to sew knitted squares into blankets. The group has produced hundreds of blankets since its start seven years ago and has donated them to people sleeping on the streets. This year, the project aims to create 150 blankets. Currently, there are 40 dedicated knitters and crocheters creating squares at meetups.
